Knowsley Safari – A fantastic family day out
Located right between Liverpool and Manchester, Knowsley Safari is a great day out for the whole family. You’ll be able to see sea lions, meerkats and giraffes on the foot safari, as well as have a go on the fantastic amusement rides and play areas. Here, you’ll also be able to go on the incredible 5 mile Safari Drive through 550 acres of stunning scenery. It's the longest in the UK and home to baboons, camels, lions, rhinos, zebras, and lots more exotic animals.
What’s also great about Knowsley Safari, is that they work with a number of conservation projects across the UK and globally to preserve natural habitats and the animals that live there.
The park also hosts loads of regular events, displays and animal talks throughout the day where you can learn about all the amazing animals that call Knowsley Safari home.

We absolutely loved our day at Knowsley Safari, my 4 year old had the best time! We spent around an hour driving around the safari, spotting all of the animals with my little boy gasping and squealing in delight at how close we were to them. Although, he wasn’t keen on the idea of going in with the monkeys! The sticker maps are a great idea and they gave us a challenge of spotting the animals on the safari.
The foot safari was also great fun, we saw meerkats, giraffes and tigers and we had a stamp card which we had to stamp at various locations. My personal highlight of the day was the Sea lion show, absolutely brilliant – this is one not to be missed!
