10 Clues for an at-home Easter Egg Hunt
Treat your kids to an at-home Easter egg hunt with some of our fun clues and ideas.
One of my favourite memories as a child from Easter was my Mum’s annual Easter egg hunt. We’d be told to play in the garden whilst she prepped it before the carnage began. For 15 minutes my siblings and I would be running around the house in search of tiny paper clues, each clue telling you where the next one would be. We found it hilarious that she’s send us upstairs and down, inside, and out to finally find the hidden chocolate eggs (which looking back, would always be in the oven, every year)!
I always strive to do the same for my family, but the Mum guilt sets in when I’m sat struggling to think of even a single rhyme or clue. I took some time this week to sit down and write out a mini Easter egg hunt, and thought I could share it here, so if anyone else out there struggles as much as I do, hopefully this helps!
You can either use this as inspiration and write your own clues, or save it and use it as an exact template (I’ve dropped a less colourful version below for those of us who are looking to print it out directly).
Top Tip: When setting up a treasure hunt I find it easiest to work backwards, putting the clue where the one before tells you to, in this case, starting from the oven. Feel free to hide extra treats along the way, though perhaps skip the bathroom for obvious hygiene purposes!
