Mister Twisters Review – Days Out Diaries

It was a very rainy day so we decided to head to Mister Twister for some indoor fun and wear the kids out!
When we arrived, the kids got a coloured wrist band with a time slot for the trampolines. With this voucher you get 1 hour in the trampoline area and 30 minutes in the soft play. We didn't know until we arrived but adults bounce for FREE so you only need to purchase a voucher for the kids! We thought this was fantastic as we have been to different trampoline parks and paid £10 per adult for an hour time slot! We took our own trampoline socks as we already had some (don't worry if you need some though they sell them there for £1.50 and you can take them home for next time).
We had time to kill before our bounce slot so the member of staff said the kids could play in the soft play while we waited. The soft play was HUGE - over 5 floors! It had a massive slide, a Rope-Bridge, a mini zip line, tunnels and lots of lights inside which made it a bit more fun for the kids! There was also a separate section for smaller children and babies to play in with some toys.
We grabbed a table whilst Poppy and Eddie went to play and we had a look at the café. On the menu there was a good selection of hot and cold food, drinks, and a separate kids menu. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced and at the counter there was a wide range of snacks, cakes, crisps, drinks and slush puppies - to the kids delight!
After about 15 minutes our colour wrist band was called for the bounce session and everyone went into a small room to watch a safety video, which included the rules for the area. It only took a few minutes and then we headed to the trampolines. The kids ran straight to a long beam that stretched over a big foam pit from one side to the other! We all enjoyed the challenge of walking across without falling off into the pit! The area was fenced off with a gate which was good as only our time slot was allowed in so it didn't get very overcrowded.
Next to the foam pit! There was a rope wall so you could climb up and jump in - the kids loved this and were jumping off backwards into the foam!
After fun in the foam we bounced our way across the many trampolines! There was lots of squares to choose from, a slam dunk section, and a platform to jump off.
After some time jumping away, me and Gary (two very hot and unfit parents) needed a sit down, so went back to our table for a rest for 5 minutes. We could see the kids from our table which was fab so we could keep an eye on them and watch them have fun! Once we caught our breath back, we went back to join the kids for 10 minutes before out time slot ran out.
Afterwards, the kids were very hot and thirsty, so we got them a slush and they had a quick rest. A few sips later and they was ready to run wild again! They asked us to go in with them (where do kids get there energy from?!) so we took it in turns to go all the way to the top and down the slide with them. It had got a bit darker outside by now so the lights inside looked really good - the kids said it looked "magical".
The soft play area wasn't very busy and we didn't get called out, but after 30 minutes the kids were very worn out and tired anyway (winning!!)
The staff here were all very friendly and the place was nice and clean. We all enjoyed our time at Mister Twister and would return again! Whether you want to jump around like a big kid, or enjoy the peace and quiet with a cuppa while the kids run wild, Mister Twister suits everyone!
And remember if you have them already don't forget your socks!!
