All aboard! Grab this half price family pass and embark on this unforgettable journey through the beautiful English countryside on the Churnet Valley Railway.

Take a step back in time and embark on a journey that will help you escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Climb onboard a stunning heritage carriage, based on traditional designs from the 1950s and 60s on the Churnet Valley Railway.

During this journey, you will start at Froghall Station, and stop at Consall, Cheddleton and Ipstones. These picturesque stations across the Staffordshire Moorlands offer lots of interest with a complete range of visitor facilities, and there's plenty more to see and enjoy along the way.

In addition to the 11 mile return journey along the valley, there's a taste of contrasting moorland scenery on the 9 mile round trip along the Cauldon Lowe branch as far as Ipstones loop.

Fancy some refreshments? Stop into the traditional tearoom at Froghall station, serving a range of hot and cold food, including morning coffee, light lunches, homemade soup, afternoon tea and cakes. There's even a log fire, perfect for the early departures in those colder months.
